Monsoon Season - While we can run this tour during the
monsoon season of June to September, we don't generally recommend it
as the weather can be very hot & rainy, the wildlife parks hard to
explore, and there is a risk of landslides causing long delays to the overland journeys.
Late September to November is a good time to
visit Nepal, as the weather is good, and wildlife viewing is OK. The elephant
grass is growing taller however, which can make it hard to spot some
wildlife.
Winter Season - This is a good time to do this tour, and visit the National
Parks in Nepal. The weather is fine, and many migratory birds arrive
from December onwards. The elephant grass is still long however, which
cuts down some viewing opportunities.
