TURKEY ACCOMMODATION
IMPORTANT NOTES
While they are our first choices, the hotel names below are given as a guide
only, and we use them subject to availability. Sometimes in peak seasons, or for
example if maintenance work is being carried out in a hotel, we may use other
carefully selected hotels of the same standard.
A
- Istanbul - Currently, we do not use this level of accommodation for our tours in Turkey
These are the highest quality hotels, in which all rooms have air-conditioning,
en-suite bathroom, telephone and cable TV. Other facilities and services include
swimming pools in pleasant garden surroundings, an assortment of coffee shops,
cafes, restaurants and shops, fitness studio, business centre, laundry service
and room service.
B
These are high quality hotels, in which all rooms have air-conditioning and en-suite
bathrooms. All hotels have a pool and restaurant, exchange, laundry and other
standard facilities.
C
All the above hotels have central heating and are usually air-conditioned, with
en-suite bathrooms. Some hotels will have swimming pools (we don’t guarantee swimming
pools at this level). Most will have a restaurant and bar. If we can’t use the
above selection, then other hotels may be used that are of the same standard (but
do not feature swimming pools). Other additional features that most hotels will
have include: laundry, international telephone and fax, safe deposit and luggage
storage.
D
These hostels are basic and clean, and usually have the following facilities:
café/bar, lounge, laundry, guest TV, bedding supplied, safe/locker. Other additional
facilities that some hostels may have include: 24-hour hot water, internet/e-mail
facilities, guest fax, travel desk and pool.
E
At these sites, you are provided with café/bar, lounge, 24-hour hot water; (occasionally
there are restrictions), laundry (usually), internet/e-mail facilities, guest
fax, travel desk, guest TV, bedding supplied (in bungalows), safe/locker.
