Orca Dive Club
A small well-known club situated in the heart of Dahab offering the highest standards in PADI/TDI courses and guided diving. The friendly and hospitable Orca team (the owning family, instructors and divemasters) will do everything they can to satisfy the clients’ needs and make their stay as comfortable as possible. Orca has outstanding facilities and equipment, highly trained staff and an exemplary safety record. It is best known as being the friendliest club in town!
Recreational Diving Courses – PADI International
No experience required! Make a dive with your own private instructor without the time and money commitments of a full course. Just enjoy the magic of the underwater world.
Duration: 2 hours
The most popular beginner’s dive course in the world today. The course is split into three sections: confined water, open water and academic. Qualifies you to make dives to 18m.
Duration: 3-4 days
No exams required…! AND dives at the best sites in Dahab (Canyon & Blue Hole), allows you to dive to 30m. Includes a night dive plus two specialities, such as naturalist dive, drift dive, multi-level dive, etc.

PADI Divemaster
Technical diving courses – Technical Diving International
Safely increase your bottom time, reduce the risks of DCS and reduce diving fatigue. Learn about the benefits, limits and correct procedures for using Nitrox mixes up to 40% oxygen.
Duration: 1 day, 2 dives
Qualifies you to use Nitrox mixes up to 100% oxygen and to plan and conduct dives to 45m. This course is a pre-requisite to most technical diving courses.
Duration: 3 days, 4 dives
- TDI Decompression Procedures
Venture beyond the limits of recreational diving and learn how to plan and conduct decompression dives up to 45m.
Duration: 4 days, 5 dives
Deep air diving with twin 12 litre tank configuration. This course qualifies you to dive solo to 55m.
Duration: 5 days, 4 dives
Learn to plan and dive Trimix – a mixture of oxygen, nitrogen and helium, for deep diving beyond 66m. Maximum depth 100m!
Duration: 5 days, 4 dives

Guides Dives and Safari Packages
Orca also offers a full range of guided diving packages, including equipment hire and professional guides. Guided dives go out daily to Dahab’s world renowned sites: Canyon, Blue Hole, Eel Garden etc.
They also run camel dive safaris to remote locations outside of the Dahab area such as Ras Abu Galum and Gabr el Bint. A local Bedouin guide will cook you lunch at the dive site, providing a taste of the celebrated Bedouin culture and hospitality.
They also organise boat safaris to Sharm el Sheikh, including the famous WWII wreck HMS Thistlegorm and Ras Mohammed National Park.

Orca Dive Centre is perfectly located in the centre of dahab Bedouin Village. It is only a few minutes walk from your hotel and right next to the beach. There are plenty of shops restaurants and cafes nearby and the popular Tota bar is just down the street.
